A local company, SunCraft, NZ Ltd. provides European-made
adaptable sunshades to maximise outdoor life.

Our story

The summer months in New Zealand are spent outdoors in areas where the sun relentlessly shines on residents. Initially, the market for exterior sun protection was limited to umbrellas and fixed sun shades, but we saw an opportunity to help Kiwis optimise their sun-trap areas and fully use their sun-bathed space using the Soliday retractable shade system.

Based in Austria, Soliday is one of the leading manufacturers of sophisticated manually- and automatically-retractable shade systems. Leveraging in-depth product knowledge, we created SunCraft, NZ Ltd., and are the exclusive distributor for Soliday products in the Oceania region.

Amazing retractable shade structure. Instant shade with the push of a button, retracts when not needed and when you want the view. We had an umbrella before which broke in the smallest breeze. Suncraft system has quality components which can handle gusty wind. This also provides a large area of shade coverage that couldn’t be achieved with an umbrella. We couldn’t imagine summer without it.
